CONSULTATION

The consultations are carried out by three methods:

• 1) Consultaion computerized through the Computerized Catalogue of the Net of Libraries of the CSIC.

This catalogue includes all those books that have been acquired after 1992 and all the books of the following matters: Public administration, Latin America, Art, Applied Sciences, Culture, Economy, Armed Forces, Linguistics, Contemporary Spanish Literature, Politics, Sociology and European Union. These searches can be made by Authors, Tittles and for Subjects.

• 2) Manual files. They contain the information on the acquired books prior to 1992 of the following matters: Bibliographies, Biographies, Philosophy, Geography, History, Literature, References and Religion. This search can be made by Authors, Tittles, Subjects and/or CDU (Universal Decimal Classification).

• 3) File on Ortega. This file is manual and it contains all the information of Jose Ortega y Gasset published work, and the studies on this work.

PERSONAL LOAN

Hours: 10:30 to 18:30 h.

Quantity and duration of the loan: Up to 3 books during 15 days.

Renovation: Users will be able to renew loans up to 3 times, whenever there are not petitions of reservation other users'. Renovation can be made by telephone.

Reserves: The user who from wants to burrow a book, can reserve it for having it after its return to the library. The loan period will begin in the moment in wicht the user is said that the book is available. Having she/he not retired it in a term of 48 hours, she/he will lose the reservation.

Delays: Those users that are delayed in the return of books can be sanctioned (Block of the identification loan card of 1 day without loan for every day late).

Reinstatement: The books that get lost should be restored (if possible), or economically compensated.

-Magazines
-Big size Art books
-Doctoral thesis
-Funds of the personal Library of Jose Ortega and Gasset
-Bibliography on Ortega
-Gabriel Jackson Fund
-Those books indicate by the professors
-Record Library

FOTOCOPIES

The users will be able to make photocopies of the library excluded from loan with sole aims of investigation. Fee: 0,06 € (10 ptas.) each copy.
